'98 Camry
 

Sooooo... Earlier this month I had the issue of my Camry not cranking. ( No clicking noise, no lights on the dashboard, clock, radio, nothing worked) After getting a jump, I went and replaced the battery, which was under a year old along with the alternator. Fast-forward 3 weeks, and I am having the same issues. I had to get about 4-6 jumps today. Got a jump at my house to go to take my kid to daycare; got out dropped him off, took about 3 minutes, car is completely dead no electronics or anything. Happened again when I went to the store, jumped it and as soon as we removed the cables my car died. PLEASE HELP ME. My husband is military and is gone often and we have a small child, I really do not want to sell my Camry but.... I need something reliable:confused::confused:

what are the battery terminals made of

if steel originals
could be the battery terminals and wires to them

if not already fitted

get two new brass ones and attach cleaned wires well

I know this will probably sound crazy, but I know NOTHING about cars, so right now you're speaking a foreign language to me lol. I get what you're speaking of when you say battery terminals, those are the screws that I was hooking the cables to for a jump correct? And where are the wires? Would the battery need to come out completely? Thank you for all of this info!
