Default ATF filter change

I had my ATF filter changed in my 2006 Toyota camry LE 4 cyl about 6 months ago I am wondering how often should I change it, I am going to change the ATF that's Is why I am asking, because its a lot of work just to change the filter, cause I have to lift up the supports or what ever you call them to get to some of the bolts. Another ?, are all the camrys like that, I mean to get to the bolts on the AFT pan?

Most owners never change the filter.

Concentrate on changing the fluid.

I wouldn't even bother with the filter until 100K.

The owners manual only states to change the fluid, never mentioned the screen.

You can change it(pn-35330-08010,in case you do), but as they have stated above...you don't really HAVE to change it...
