Axle issues 92 4cyl.
 

Hey guys, well I have acquired a 92 2.2l 4cyl auto. I have ran into a problem with axle replacement. It seems that both axles are locked into the trans and will not budge a centimeter. The driver side has an enormous amount of play up and down and side to side where the axle stub goes into the tranny. The left side will not budge out of the tranny or the support bearing. I have removed the snap ring and bolt on the left side and just will not budge. Both side are aggravating me more and more as I have never had this problem with replacing axles on any vehicle. I am bout to the point of replacing the trans as it has 230,000 miles on it. Please any help will make this less stessful.
