Default Best Price for Pneumatic Hood Struts?

The local Pep Boys wants $100 each for new cylinders. I'm sure factory parts would be much more. Does anyone know a good source?

Do an internet search on the item.

Partsgeek.com, autopartswarehouse, etc. has the listed for around $20 each.

Rockauto appears to even even cheaper prices and a wider selection of brands.

if the shipping include, I think the price is justifiable.

Default Camry hood strut install question

I have a 96 Camry and I bought hood struts off Amazon. On the drivers side strut the bottom part of the strut is connected to some electrical wiring and I just can’t separate the metal tongue of the strut from the wiring bracket. Need to separate it to take the old failing strut off. Any tips/tricks to accomplish this that I may be missing? Any advice would be much appreciated.
