My blower fan was working, but only in the highest speed setting. After some googling and searching through some forum threads, I first removed for comparison, then went and purchased and installed a new "blower motor resistor" which fixed the problem.

Removal/installation is easily done by removing 2 philip head screws holding it in place onto the lower firewall of the passenger side of the vehicle. You need to first remove a plastic cover on the bottom of the glovebox area to find it - and a short screwdriver to get at the screws - but very easy to do. ~$25.00.
