Default Brake and Reverse lights do not work appropriately

My Brake lights do not turn on when I press the brake pedal but all the fuses are good and and the light bulbs in working condition. My Reverse lights do not Turn on either. Again bulbs are good and fuses are good but I did have to replace the Lamp failure module several times. Can somebody help me!?

Determine if the brake lights are getting 12V power when the brake pedal is pushed and the socket has a good ground wire circuit.

For the reverse lights check for damage in the trunk where the wire harness transitions from the chassis to the trunk lid.

Okay so I mistake. The brakes do work but the reverse lights do not. I have checked the wiring on the trunk and they all are fine. bulbs and fuses are fine but still no power to the sockets. and sorry for the late response. I came down with the flu

The brake is fine. The reverse lights however aren't coming on. Fuses are fine, along with the wiring to the sockets but no light.

1988 Camry v6. Had the tranny replaced so that could be the root to the problem

Look in the trans case for a switch like the ones in the link below:

Toyota Camry Back Up Light Switch - Free Shipping - Standard, Beck Arnley, AC Delco

Make sure the switch is wired up.

Power wire might be red/blue. Wire to lights red/black.
