Replacing brakes on the '10 XLE. Is it best to go ceramic or semi metallic?

Tires-stock size, Toyota mags, which brand performs best in all conditions?

I really think that ceramic is the way to go. They cost more but tend to be quieter, less dust, and better stopping power. If you go semi-metallic, get the best they offer. I think it does make a difference.
Tires is a bit more tricky. You can get a tire that handles everything very well but wears quickly. Or a tire that will last but you hear every mouse turd you run over and at highway speeds you got the drone sound. Directional tires can't be rotated is the traditional sequence.
I think Goodyear makes some great tires but damn, are they pricey.
Are you concerned with price? Longevity? Performance? Snow/ice?
Check some of the big tire sites and read the reviews is my best advice.
