I have a 89 camry 4 wd has been sitting for over 3 and a half yeasr i want to put i t back on the rd what are some thing i need to have done will even still work??

yepp! it should work. Just get on maintinance ASAP! BELTS and HOSES as well as FLUIDS. 4WD!!! lucky-

Just do the usual. Change fluids, check belts, hoses, charge battery (maybe even new one).
Your biggest problem might be the quality of the gas in the entire fuel system. If you can I would have a garage drain the gas tank so the gas can be disposed of properly. I would then add something like Chemtool B12 to a couple of new tanks of gas to help clean out any residue.

Before starting the car I would also remove the plugs and spray some WD-40 or like down into the chambers. Rust may have formed on the piston rings and cylinder walls so having some instant lubrication will help protect them until the oil gets flowing.

yeah if u didnt already drain it of fluids before you stored it, then you should do it now, fill it back up and do another drain and fill about a hundred miles down the road. I honestly dont see too many problems. Just do an overall visual of everything you can see or feel. And always be sure to check your tire pressure and tire conditions. Tires dry out and crack over the course of the years even if your car has been sheltered.
