2007 camry towing trailer
Hi-
I've just registered in this forum. Has anyone had experience towing a trailer with waverunner, ATV, or snowmobile behind their 2007 (or smilar) Camry? I have the LE 4 cyl.
Please let me know. Thanks!

What does the owners manual state. The typical towing limit for Camry is 1000 lbs.
I tow a trailer on occasions behind an earlier model 4 cylinder Camry.
The car can tow 1000 lbs (total weight) without problems.
Max load towed was around 2500 lbs. Would only recommend this for short distances such as getting a load home from a local store. This load is too heavy for safe higher speed travel.
When towing loads over say 700 lbs suggest turning off the O/D.
The cars MPG drops significantly when towing even just the empty trailer (est weight 450 lbs).
If I was going to tow loads over 1000 lbs on a ongoing basis would be looking at an trans oil cooler.
In some states any load over 2000 lbs require trailer brakes.
Suggest you limit the load to under 1500 lbs, and under 1000 lbs ideal.
