Firmware updates

Does anyone know where I can get the updates and do it myself so I don't have to pay the dealer 169.00 each and I ha e two that are available ?

any firmware update for whatever firmware runs the Camry 2012 console screen?

Pretty sure you are going to have to go to the dealer for this.
Think computer to computer.
Cables to connect, it's not like USB.

I called a very large Toyota dealer in San Antonio. She didn't know what firmware was, but she was OK with software.

She had never heard of anybody updating "software"

She is a fool. Was she a service rep?
There are TSB updates specifically for software.

You probably talked to wrong or not knowledgeable person. Encountered couple of staffs at the dealer that can't figure out what I'm asking about simple Camry stuffs.
