fuel filter strainer?

1993 Camry LE...

As I was looking into prices on Ebay for fuel pumps, I saw several "fuel strainers" for sale.

does my model and year require one of these??

There is a fuel screen "sock" on the pump inlet (inside of fuel tank) and a can type fuel filter in the engine compartment.
