Default Gas Mileage??

1993 Camry LE, 4 cyl.

I live in Texas, where the car A/C has to be on all the time in the summer months...

so, with the A/C on and having to fill up with the Ethynol gas (10%) in the summer time, what MPG can I expect for this car??

assuming everything under the hood is functioning properly...

25/26 MPG overall city/hwy using 10% ethanol and AC off.

If doing long hwy driving with only stops for gas, MPG can get over 30.

Constant AC usage might drop MPG, 1-2 points. Depends on city or hwy driving.

Low tire pressure can drop MPG 3%.

Thanks for the detailed information about the gas mileage.I was also thinking how much will be the mileage if the ac is on full time.

I live in College Station, TX, and I drive a 1995 LE 4 cyl. During the summer, where it usually gets above 100F during the day, and doing only city driving, I usually average 26-28 mpg. That is pure city, no highway, and top speed of 40 mph with very frequent stoplights and the AC blowing full blast the whole way. However, I took a road trip this summer, and while fully loaded, going across the Rocky mountains, I averaged 32.7 across the country with the AC on. With the AC off, doing only flat driving at 68 mph, I did average 35.2.
