Gen 3 Payload Capacity

Gen 3 Payload Capacity
I was wondering where/how the payload capacity is calculated.
To my knowledge, it is GVWR - curb weight.
According the sticker in my 94 V6's glovebox, the payload capacity is 900 lbs., and the GVWR is 4310 lbs.
Gen 3 Camry's appear to weigh in at less than 3300 lbs, with the base vehicles being as light as 2900 lbs.
Wouldn't this make the payload capacity atleast 1100 lbs?

Thanks for the info mate!
I wonder why the payload is listed as 900 lbs. when the curb weight of the vehicle is ~3219.
Either way, you're right, I'd have to get it weight if I wanted to get the payload capacity.
