Default Seats

I recently purchased a 1996 Avalon and would like to know if any of the seats from another model Camry, Corolla,Sienna ect. can be used as replacements. I'd like to get seats from Pull-a-Part to swap out as I can purchase seats for$25. Mine has power seats. The leather is just worn out.
Thanks for your time

Want just a seat, or a seat with the same features as the current one perhaps power seat?

I have a question about seats. Trying to replace 2002 Camry Le drivers power seat with a drivers power seat from a 2002 Camry Se. The plug from Se seat connects to the Le plug but seat will not operate. I understand the Le is made in USA and the Se in Japan.

The SE and LE are two different seats each having their own wiring diagram.

However the plug wiring/colors appears the same. Are you sure the SE seat works?

Have to ask, is the SE seat for the drivers or passengers side?

Sorry about the delay. The Se seat worked before we pulled it out of the donor car. It is the drivers seat. Thank you!

Most likely have harness to seat wiring issue.

Compare wiring colors and locations at the plug.

Ok, figured it out. The SE car has 2 plugs on the harness that comes through the floor where the LE only has the one. The LE plug does connect to one on the SE seat but it is just for the seat belt warning light on dash. The other Plug on the SE seat is the one that powers the controls on the seat. I would have to tear the harness out of the SE car and install it in the LE car in order to work the seat. Not going to bother with it. Thank you for the help Joey!
