HID lights not working...please help

Hello, just wondering if someone can help me get some answers. I bought a set of Beamers H11 HID lights from this company in Edmonton for $220 including installation.

They installed it and it worked fine. When I tried it the next morning the right side did not work and I had to turn it on and off 3 times to get it to light up. I took it back and they changed the ballist, so it worked fine. Same thing happened in the morning and so I took it back and they changed the bulbs. Took it home, same thing in the morning...this time had to turn it on/off 5 times to get it to light. So they told me I might need a upgraded harness...so I paid $60 for it (not very happy at that point)...guess what...same thing in the morning. Here I am now $280 down the drain and very frustrated at my purchase. Can any one suggest something to me? I'm not happy with this whole expereince. I didn't pay $280 to turn my lights on and off in the morning 5 or 6 times before driving. Thank you

Return everything for a refund.

I asked for a refund and they refused, said it's used and I'm stuck with it. Does anyone know if it's my Camry, the install or the lights?

Doesn't matter if it's your Camry (doubt it is) they said they could get it to work with YOUR Camry, especially when they said you needed a new harness and that did not help. Unless you've done some wacky mod on your electrical system it's up to them to get it to work. Is this a national chain or some local chop shop? If national chain then the HO might be able to intervene. I'd look into small claims court if I were you to either get it fixed or your money back. Contact your state's attorney general about state law for car work. No one here can help without electrical diagrams and knowing how it's wired.

Great. Thanks. It's pissing me off even more today...9 times to turn it on. It's a local shop...never heard of them before I bought from them. I'll take your advice to pursue a full refund.

it's great to support the small shops, but let this be a lesson to everyone, do your research on small shops before you buy. some places are great, some not so much..

There is not enough power going to both ballast when u turn the light switch on. There is certain procedure u have to do before u turn the HID on. Let me know if u need help on the installs. omaknoxa@yahoo.com subject HID.
