Loosing Power

I have a 1994 xle with 131000 miles, I have replaced the igniter per toyota due to the engine loosing power, stumbling and stalling. This seemed to have cured the problem for about 5 weeks until I drove in a driving rain today and some VERY shallow puddles. At that point the engine lost power as if it were not getting enough gas or air. I blew off the front end of engine believing that water may have gotten on a sensor? After about 5 minutes and giving the engine gas it stumbles and feels like it is not getting air/gas. Any help would be graciously appriciated.

Sounds more like a loose vacuum hose. Also, check the oil level and how dirty it is. But still, change the air and fuel filters.

You may have some wire or component draining your battery due to a short in the wiring or internal damage to the component too.

If car runs poorly after going through water check ign wires, wiring, coil, etc.

Yeah i say an exposed wire somewhere. Get it on a lift (or crawl under it like i have to do[:'(]) and see if you can see exposed wires. It may be that the force of the water is phisically pushing a bare wire to touch a ground rather than the water causing a short. If it is effected by "shollow puddles" like you say, it may be quite obvious.
