Motor running behind speedometer/dashboard

Motor running behind speedometer/dashboard
I have a 2003 Toyota Camry 2.4L. I have just noticed a humming vibration behind the speedometer section of the dashboard. After some searching and analyzing here is what I have found. The noise is there when the engine is running and doesn't vary with the speed of the engine. With the engine off and the key in the "ON" position, the noise is there. It sounds like some sort of a motor running. Almost like a electric fuel pump. I know that it isn't the fuel pump as they are now located in the fuel tank. The heater/air conditioning fan control on the dash is turned off and it does work properly separate from this running motor noise.
I'm trying to figure out what this noise is before we have to take it to a dealer or specialist. If anyone has had this happen to their Camry please let me know. Any and all help will be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks.

There are not motors behind the dash.
Have you checked for the noise being in the engine compartment?
The ign key in lock alarm is in this area, does the alarm work OK?
There is also the ign key solenoid near the key lock.
Do all the heat air vents work OK, they have small motors?
Might start pulling fuses until noise stops to narrow down problem.

toyomoho,
It turns out to be the wiper motor. At first it didn't sound like the wiper motor as the sound came from right behind the speedometer. The wipers do not move back and forth with any speed. Unfortunately it sounds like a dealer issue. I don't know anyone in my area that can or will do that kind of work. Thanks for your response.
