I have a 98 camry that i did a engine swap in. I have the new engine in and it will crank but the plugs have no fire. The engine that I recieved had a distributor where the engine that came out of the car has a coil pack. When i did the swap i swap the distributor with the coil pack. Now it wont start.

 

Have you changed the ECU as well as the engine.

If you have changed the engine you will need the matching ECU.

 

I swapped all pieces from old to the new including coil pack, cam sensor, and crank sensor. Since I changed these pieces I shouldn't have to change the ecu should I?
