noticed at last moment of a stop brakes add a little more pressure?

I know some new features like self stopping sensor's if you r to close to the back of a vehicle on the road however - What I have noticed at last moment of a stop say at a stop sign the brakes add a little more stopping pressure, is this normal on a 2017 Camry LE?

hi, and I'm wondering do Hybrid brakes do this because my 2017 Camry is gas driven ,not a hybrid, thanks for your answer

In the early stage of braking with a hybrid, some of the energy us used to charge the battery. At the end of the braking cycle, it stops trying to recharge the battery and directs all the braking energy into stopping the car, so you get a stronger braking effect.
