asnodrogkam said check ur fuse's or if there is a relay for the over drive under the hood in the relay's box ... some gear box comes with an electrical switch connected to thegear ... check it out .. am not so sure coz am still exeploring my camry as i used to mostly drive american cars.

There will not be one fuse for just that light. So unless other lights don't work, it's not a fuse. I'm assuming it's the light that goes on when you hit the switch on the shifter to kick the O/D off? Does the O/D actually go off even without the light? I'd go with light bulb then look at switch.

RE: overdrive light on dash

I didn't realize my 98 Camry 4cyl has O/D. So when I started the car after work I noticed that the "O/D Off" light was on. It wasn't on before. Since it wasn't on before, I'm assuming I may have switched it off sometime today. But I don't remember do so. Not to mention that I have no idea where the O/D switch is on my car. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

If I didn't hit the switch, what could be the reason why it is now off?

Thanks

Sweet. Thanks for the tip. The whole time I've had my car, I never noticed that switch.
