Power WIndow Issue
Hello to all,
I have had my 2002 camry for about 2 years. About a week ago my ALL of my power windows stopped working. I checked the fuse and noticed it was burnt. I replaced the fuse but as soon as I turn the key to my ignition it pops the fuse. I tried looking around to see if there was a short somewhere but I can't find anything. I also am not sure of where to find the relay. Any help will be greatly appreciatied. Thanks. |
RE: Power WIndow Issue
Check the wiring going between the drivers door and chassis. Often the wires break or short due to damage caused by the constant bending from door usage.

RE: Power WIndow Issue
Thanks I'll check that out. I was able to bring the windows up by changing the fuse and not turning the car on.(i got this from another post) But when I tried bringing up my Driver side window in blew out the fuse? Could the issue be with the switch? or Is it still a short?

RE: Power WIndow Issue
Still would check the door wiring first. This is the most likely place for a short.
