Hi--I had previously bought a 1997 Toyota Camry with a factory alarm installed. The model is the RS3000. The engine will not start, since it is locked by the alarm. I need to figure out how to reset the alarm. Does anyone know how to do this?

i thought the immobilizer resets itself automatically once youre able to unlock the car with the key or start it with the key (with chip inside). at least thats how mine works.

you can try disconnecting the battery for 15 minutes and see if that resets it.
