Reversed Jumper Cables
 

Jumper cables were reversed on an 04 Camry LE. Blew the Alt 120 Amp fuse. Visually check all other fuses and they look good. Would this fuse cause the car not to turn over at all.

Did you replace this fuse? Yes, this fuse powers the ign key system that powers the starter system. The fuse is bolted to the wiring behind box. Don't attempt to pry it out, need to access back of box and unbolt from wiring.

There is also a fusible link built into the battery cable between the box having the 120A fuse and + battery terminal.

Did you check the fuses under the dash on the far drivers side? Remove ash tray to access.

Haven't had a chance to change the 120 Amp fuse yet. Pulled every other fuse, both inside and out and they looked good. Just wanted to know that once a change it out the engine should crank over. I'll post back if I have more problems. Thanks for the reply.
