Steering

Hi,
I bought a 99 Camry LE about three months ago and the steering of this car is getting stuck once in a while, maybe on an average of once every week for the past two months. It normally happens during sharp turns and to get it unstuck i have to go back and forth a few times and then it works fine for thenext week or so. I checked thepower steering fluid and it is at the normal level between the Max and the Min. I just want to know if this is something that would cost me a lot of moneyor if i can takecare of it myself.

RE: Steering

check all your steering linkage first. It doesn't sound like pump problems. Now if it is actually getting stuck i really think it is steering box. But if it just getting dard to steer, than it has to be pump or very low rpm. You're going to have check all parts of steering system to figuire this one out.

good luck
