Hello All,

I just bought a stock 2009 Camry LE. I noticed the sunroof wasn't working. I crossed my fingers and hoped it was a fuse but they were fine. I then spent a minute pressing buttons. Then it started working....briefly. Motor seemed strong and fine. So, I'm thinking the buttons/control console has gone bad due to corrosion or something. I pulled it off and noticed the board and frame are melted together and there are no tabs (from factory). Little nervous to melt them and pull apart So, is there any way to clean the contacts? Or is there any other solution than buying a new one?

 

The switchers are supposed to be plastic membrane and tough to clean. Try ebay for a replacement.

 

Ditto on what Joey said, replace the whole switch panel.
