Thermostat question
Hello all.
I have a 96 Camry 4 cyl with 298,000+ miles on the clock. My question is about does the thermostat have a pressure relief valve to it? My Chiltons book does show one in a picture but the one I bought from Amazon it's a Stant "superstat" # 45758 with 180* but WITH OUT the/a pressure relief valve. What say you all do/does it matter that this one (Stant) doesn't have it? |
The sales product info on this thermostat model states it does have a bypass for air but its not the typical loose rivet type. If no rivet then a bleed notch.
