Tire pressure gauge
Just had the oil changed and tire rotation in my 07 Camry SE V-6 and now the Low Pressure gauge for the tires on the dash is lit all the time. All tires and spare are good. Hit the button in glove box to reset but no good. Is there a way to disconnect the indicator light? Dealer said it would be around 350 to do a diagnostic and fix it. Thanks in advance for the help.

350 is to much, does he said it's possible???

Make sure all the tires including spare are set to the same pressure, typically 31-32 psi.
With ign switch on hold reset button for 3 seconds or longer. Light should blink 3 times when reset process starts. Process should take 2-3 minutes. |
Joe,
I will try this today and let you know if it works. Thanks |
Is there a way to disconnect the indicator light? Or the system?

The reset button is mounted on the tire pressure computer which has a wiring harness attached.
The blue wire goes to the light. The black wire is the computers power supply. The computer is linked into other systems such as skid control which have their own power supply. Don't know if disconnecting power will effect these systems or trigger some other light. The system does not have a dedicated fuse but is tied into fuses for other circuits. |
