Toyota Camry 2005 LE rear JBL speaker wiring

Due to my new subwoffer in my trunk, it has unfortunately caused too much pressure in it and broke both of my rear speakers. I ordered some new ones and when I tried to jump them off of the wire, the sound was really quiet and flat sounding compared to the ones that were in my car that blew out. I plugged the blown out ones back in and turned down the bass so they wouldn't make the vibrating noise and did a side by side comparason and noticed a big difference. When I looked at the wiring, I noticed some wires going to the cone of the speakers that split off before the main plug. Does anyone know what these wires are for? I'm thinking it could be affecting my problem with the new speakers being flat that I am not plugging them directly into the new speakers.

Are the speakers the correct ohm resistance?

The rear speakers should only have two wires running to them.

They are the exact same speakers and I ordered them from Ebay. Someone had a head on accident and they recovered the speakers. They are the same model number for the speakers and look the exact same. I was just wondering but it looks like I'll have to take apart the back of my seats to access the speakers alone to see if I can directly connect them.

Are you connecting the new speakers at some wiring point other then the leads at the blown speakers?

Try accessing the back of the speakers (and their wiring) from the trunk.

The speakers can only be accessed by taking apart the entire back seat and I followed the instructions in the video linked below. The only problem now is that the final back panel that is removed to access the speakers won't come off. It is attached still somewhere in the back corners and the video doesn't show any struggle to remove it. Any ideas?
