Default Trouble with high beam/low beam 2003 camry

When driving with my low beams on, the high beams will sporadically turn on by themselves. Will sometimes flash low to high to low etc., other times just turn on to high, and if I mess with the switch on the steering column, they will turn off. Either a loose wire in the column/switch, or the switch is going bad is my guess.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Without being able to physically inspect it- your description leads me to believe you have a failed switch.

How difficult of a replacement is that?

Not very difficult at all. Just remove the upper and lower steering column cover and the switch assembly is either clipped on- or held on by a couple of screws.
