weird problem with alarm system for 1999 camry
 

i have a 1999 toyota camry with the factory alarm system. today when i went to lock and unlock the doors, the alarm didn't chirp. it usually chirps once when locking and twice when unlocking. the red light that usually blinks when the car is armed now blinks even when the car is unlocked. does anybody know how to fix this problem?

i have the same car, same problem sometimes when locking it chirps but more often then not. just wondering if there is a way to arm or not?

this happened to me, just start your car and press the remote and everything will return to normal.
