windows not working
I'm trying to help my mom with her '99 Camry, none of the windows work. Nothing happens with the master switch at the driver's door nor the individual switches at every door. I replaced the 30A fuse under the dash and nothing. I can't locate the relay that may run the windows... I tried re-setting the windows but nothing... I think the culprit may be the relay but I'm baffled, I thought Toyotas were easier to work on than Europeans (I'm and Audi guy)..... Not sure what else to try and there's no way all motors went out at the same time, any ideas or pointers are welcome...
The windows also use the 25A Door and 10A Gauge fuses. The 30A Power fuse routes power through the Power Relay. This relay also powers the door locks at the drivers side door window/lock switch console. Do these locks work?
Without more info can't state the possible problem. However its common for the wiring that routes between the chassis and drivers door to break or short out. This is due to harness between the chassis and door flexing by constant door usage.
The electronics on this 99 are FAR, FAR simpler then later cars using a multiplex system.

The power relay solenoid is controlled by the integration relay.
Power lock operation is also controlled by the integration relay. This relay is a really a circuit board having logic circuits, IC timers, etc. The relay assy is behind the far left side of the dash board. If you remove the far left dash board ash tray/instrument panel you should see a few fuses and relays. The integration relay seldom fails.
The link below has a photo of the integration relay.

The power relay is located on the integration relay. The relay is the farthest relay (of 3 relays) from the curved plastic on the left side of the relay as shown in the photo.
The drivers console has door lock switches but the actually control of locks is by the integration relay. All door lock solenoid and door switch wires eventually route to the integration relay.
Power window operation is controlled by the driver's door switch setup.
If no power window operation would start by removing the door switch assy. With ign on/acc check for 12v at the blue wire going to the switch assy. Note this blue wire also routes to each of the other window switches to allow independent door switch operation. If no blue wire power, the windows are not going to work.
Guessing? this may be a wiring issue. Here most likely between the chassis and drivers door as this is very common issue.
