Default wireless remote control, without smart key

Past few cool mornings 40 ish, the unlock feature has been stalling. Takes several attempts or just use key to unlock. 2012 Le.

all, this happened a few weeks ago & cleared up after a few days. How long do the batteries last, it's 3 and a half yrs old.

Did the temp increase and then problem go away?

Does stalling means the locks try to work?

yes, but no they dont even try-nothing. Hit it 2-3 times usually works.

couldn't get it to work the other day until I drove it, what a difference a battery makes.
