07-11 V6 Exhaust
Question for all of you Camry people. I have an 09 LE with V6 that I purchased new. Has 100k on it now. I am looking for a mid pipe without the resonator in it. My mufflers are in good shape. Don't really want to replace the entire exhaust. Just want a little more grunt. Thought if there was a pipe available that would be the route to go. I see Walker makes a replacement pipe with the resonator. I could always buy one and cut the resonator out and weld tubing in place, but looking for a quick bolt-in. I've checked Borla, DynoMax, Magnaflow, etc., but no such pipe.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |
I would check with the local muffler shop. I have gone to Meineke before for some basic work and they did it no problem and at a fair price. I think if you just want the resonator gone, just about any shop could cut that out and weld in a new piece of pipe.

Thanks for the reply. I will probably buy the walker pipe and cut the resonator out. I have access to a welder and can put a piece of tube in. I want to keep the original pipe in case it sounds terrible or I screw up the weld.
Have a good one. |
