Air Intake Hose

My stock intake hose cracked, I was wondering if I should get a new stock one. Are the intake hoses in 3rd gen (94-96) capatible wwith 97-2001 camrys?

RE: Air Intake Hose

The the overall shape may be the same- there may be differences in PCV hose locations, etc. Although i forgot the year of the actual Camry- i did manage to use a replacement hose meant for another model year on it but had to modify it for the PCV fittings. Good Luck!

I replaced my original air intake hose on my 96 4 cylinder Camry. I had to take it out to do some repairs and now I can't figure out where the hose I have an arrow pointing to in the attached photo connects. I've looked all over the car and cant find an open connection for it.

I can't find a place to connect this hose.

Look behind the engine block. May need to get under the car and look up.

Thanks. I went under the car with a flashlight. The connection is located in the front of the engine block under the exhaust manifold on the passenger side. From now on if I have to remove the air tube, I'll remove the hose from the tube and not the lower connection. Thanks again.

I stand corrected. It is in in the back. I get a little disoriented when I have to crawl around under there sometimes.
