Broken air filter box

Hi everyone. I'm new here and just picked up an '05 Camry LE 2.4L and when checking it out, noticed the air filter box is broken. It doesn't have any latches to connect the top and bottom sections to each other. I ran a couple screws to hold it together to make sure it's sealed up, but my question is how stupid would it be to purchase a "cold air intake" to replace the whole thing. I don't think the screws I put in will last very long when being unscrewed and screwed to check and replace the air filter. I found a cheap one on Amazon, and wasn't sure if whatever downsides these might have with this engine are worth it. This is just an old grandma car I got from a friend and I have no interest in making it cool. hahaha. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

These intakes may improve engine sound but they don't add HP.

Yeah I'm not at all worried about that. Mostly thinking it might just be easier buy one of those than find one in a junk yard. And if it makes it sound better, then that's always nice.

Should be OK with cold air intake..

Make sure the intake design doesn't allow the possibility of outside water to get into the filter/engine, as has happened with some models.
