Default Cold Air Advice

Hey guy just wanted to see if you could give me some ideas. I have 96 2.2L and I put a short ram intake on it and I have think Im getting worse gas mileage from hotter air coming in from the engine bay Does anyone have any idea on how to draw colder air in. Thanks

I used to have that filter on my sri you might wana try getting a longer filter (25 bucks at pepboys) the bigger filter should give you better mpg. You could also try attaching a hose

I you could get a cold air intake because it draws cooler air from below the engine unlike a short ram which draws warmer air from the engine cavity. The factory air box works well also it is just more restrictive.
