Replaced o2 sensor in 2001 Camry and P0136 and P0141 codes came back
 

I had o2 sensor codes (P0136 and P0141) as well as EVAP codes (P0146 and others). I changed the charcoal canister and erased the codes. It has been almost 300 miles since the erase (plenty of drive cycles) and it says 0 codes on the reader... however, it said that 2 monitors were still incomplete (catalyst and o2 sensor), so I figured the o2 sensor codes may come back. I proactively changed the o2 sensor out (bank 2, sensor 1 - after the catalytic converter, by the resonator) with with this one Replacement USOS-4000 Oxygen Sensor | Auto Parts Warehouse. The check engine light came back on immediately giving 2 codes: P0136 and P0141. I erased the codes again and these codes came back on immediately again... it sounds like an electrical issue.

Has anyone installed this o2 sensor? Should I just get an oem o2 sensor? If so where's a good place to get a genuine o2 sensor for a good price?

P0136 is Bank 1, Sensor 2. For V-6, Bank 1 is the cylinder head nearest the firewall, on 4-cylinder there is only bank, No 1. Sensor 2 is the 2nd sensor on exhaust manifold.

Sensors can be different for Sensor 1 and 2 or if car has California or Federal emissions.

Could you could have installed the wrong sensor?

Suggest installing old sensor and taking action only if the check light comes on. It is not just drive cycles but a cycle having predetermined parameters that need to be met. Plus some cars never complete all checks due to computer programming.
