Twin Exhaust on an aussie Camry

Yeah, just wondering, ive seen a few camrys with the twin exhaust system done and was wondering how i would do it down here in australia. Im just enquiring cause the back bumper i wanna get has the holes for two exhausts and i think if i did the twin exhaust thing down here in aus, i think id be one the first with a twin exhaust camry.

any help would be appreciated.

dan, the way people do it in the states is by welding in a Y pipe towards the rear of the car. unless you can find a kit online, youd need to find a good exhaust shop...

is your car a 4cyl or v6? take it to a muffler shop, piss easy not that pricey either, $400 for 2" twin y pipe fitted. the expensive part is the mufflers, they range from $150 up each.

Its a 4cyl, i asked an exhaust shop if they could do one up and they said i'd probably lose a bit of power, but im gonna wait til i get my rear bumper so i can get a better idea of wat i can do.

by adding a Y pipe at the rear of the car it offers VERY LITTLE gain in flow..it is mostly just for look. if you greatly increased the exhaust flow closer to the engine, you may lose some low end torque, but having a y pipe made at the rear of the car, youre likely not goign to notice any difference.
