02 Camry no throttle response

Hey every body need help I have an 02 Camry and I swap the motor out of an 04 Camry as the 02 was blown changed the engine harness and the dash harness along with the computer the 04 was mine and I drove it every day but had a bad suspension but now when I start it it idles perfect but won’t rev over 1600 rpm’s and that is only when it is in park any ideas

The throttle is electric. Is the throttle and wiring to it OK?

Use an ODBII code reader to check for codes.

Check for blown fuses.

Any PVC or intake air system leaks?

Michaelboycehenry 09-10-2022 09:26 PM

No leaks at all runs smooth but it has a hum under the hood now that I haven’t found and it didn’t do it before

Use a section of hose as a stethoscope to find the source of the noise.

Do have a shop manual. One that has electrical test info for throttle motor, TPS and gas pedal electricals?

I do not have one that book has eluded me
