Had this problem after replacing my battery. Never stalled before. I tried driving it for miles, switching the key on and off along with shutting the engine.Nothing helped until.....
The problem was fixed by cleaning the throttle body. My Camry is over six yrs. old so I caution you to be careful with removing all hoses and sensors from the air filter assy and in holding the throttle plate open when using a cleaner-solvent. My Camry idles fine now. I also suggest replacing the pcv valve and grommet with an OEM unit.

 

I have 02 V6 with the same issue. I disconnected the battery, hoping resetting car computer will make my SRS Warning light go away... but got stalling problem in addition to srs warning light. I was going to get the throttle body cleaned (or clean it myself), butdecided to take it for a longer drive first. I drove at 55mph for about 20-25 min, then on back roads where it stalled at least 3 times on the traffic lights (last time it staleld I was 20sec away from my home), but when I arrived home to my surprise the stalling problem was gone. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

if you decide to take the car for a 45 min ride like I did, hoping the issue will go away, make sure you do it when there's no traffic (for safety reasons).
