08 camry sounds like i'm riding on off road tires
Hello i'm a newbe and i need some help
the noise i'm having sounds like off road tires on a pickup . They are fairly new maybe 25k miles all interstate driving . When they were installed i had all wheels aligned and the tires balanced . The noise started about 5k miles ago and has gotten progressively worse . I rotated the tires and checked for lose motion on wheel bearings and cv joints . I don't have any clicking noise only this low roaring noise .It is real noticeable at 20mph the faster i go the more the normal noises are heard . Could this be a cv bearing or could it be in the trans. something els ? Thanks oldmanherman |
Please be aware this is not an isolated incident. I brought my car in 2010 - 2009 Camry and informed before purchase it was just the wheels and the road and I had to replace the front driver side wheel bearing in April 2011 & I am now having to replace the front passenger side bearing now. I reported it and you can to at (800) 331-4331 #4 I am trying to let as many people know of this issue for this could be dangerous if that tire comes off.

That sounds like a lot less $ than replacing cv joints / axles or going into the trans.
Thanks for the info much appreciated . I will let you know what I find . And thanks for the phone number . OLDMANHERMAN |
