is 120k service mandatory?
I have 98 Camry LE V6, and recently the car mileage went past 122k, but i still haven't performed the 120K service. As of now the car is running smooth, but I'd like to know whether it's necessary to do the 120k service?
Also are there any good/reputed outlets where I can do the 120K service? I heard that some of the outlets steal components of the car while performing service or charge additionally for components which are not faulty. Pls recommend some outlets? |
RE: is 120k service mandatory?
since the last major service of the vehicle was 90K...it is highly recommended to get it serviced at 120K.
Personally the car can get away with almost no service inbetween but every 30K it should be properly inspected and serviced. http://smg.toyotapartsandservice.com/index.php refer to that website to see what is required for your vehicle at 120K. Although your vehicle may seem to be running smoothly, it doesnt mean it will continue to for a very long time. Your vehicle may also run less efficiently causing more wear and tear on parts along with poor emissions and fuel economy. Not knowing where you live it is difficult to recommend a place. |
