2012 Camry Fog Lights
 

Does anyone know how to install aftermarket fog lights on a 2012 Camry LE? I have them installed and the wires ran through the firewall. However I have two wires left over from the fog light switch harness, one blue and one red/black that I cant figure out where to splice in. Has anyone ever done this? thanks

Mdavis87, i'm glad you posted this because I'm about to install an aftermarket set of fog lights on my 2012 camry hybrid le. I have the set of fog lights though but I have not installed it yet since i'm still trying to figure out how to install it. Could you please give me an insight on its installation?, especially on the way you got the wiring through the firewall. Please. Thanks

However i followed these instructions for hooking up the wires under the dash and steering column with no success. the firewall part was pretty easy i took a metal coat hanger and taped the wires to one end lubed the taped with some wd-40 and stuck it through the rubber gasket, then pulled it from the inside. let me know what you come up with. thanks

Thank you mdavis87. I've been searching for that kind of document with no success. & the way you got it through the firewall is awesome., I didn't thought it that way. Okay I'll try to install the fog lights and I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks

appledental22. I thought id let you know what i came up with on wiring my fog lights. I now have them functional. If you tap into the pink wire shown in the guide with your red/black wire from the switch harness then take the blue wire to ground, the fog lights will work as they should other than turning off with the high beams. I still dont know which wire the blue one taps into to make them turn off with the high beams but I am happy with the way they are working now. Hope this helps. Anyway how did your install go? And how did you wire them?
