2013 Camry SE 4 cylinder
I'd like to hear advice on what to do now that I've reached the end of scheduled maintenance at 120K. I'd like to get at least 200K out of it. It still looks pristine, even on the inside, as I always used seat covers. The only thing I've ever done to it that wasn't scheduled was replace the battery.
Now I'm starting to wonder if the rubber belts and hoses need to be switched out before they blow out on their own. I also am now hearing different things from different Toyota service depts. on whether the tranny fluid ever needs changing. The last guy just told me, yes, every 60K miles or so. No one ever mentioned that before. The only thing I notice and it's not very often is that when I'm going slow and working up through the gears, it sometimes seems to be a little sluggish is shifting, but that could be because it's a little cold?
Also, 120K is supposed to be a spark plug replacement, but it's humming like it did when it was new, so I don't see the need for that. I also get contradictory info about whether this car has one of those timing chains that can ruin the engine if it breaks. The last guy at a Toyota service shop said my car doesn't have one of those chains that can break and ruin your engine Yet out in the lobby, they have rubber ones on display to show what a worn out one looks like. This is the first time I've ever left a Toyota shop confused and not knowing where to go from here. Probably for sure I will find a new Toyota shop.

So, there can be some opinions that rain in here but I guess I'll give my two cents on what you have mentioned.
Transmission- I would do a drain and fill. Avoid the flush!! At your age and mileage of transmission fluid you do not want the flush spreading all those metal flakes around! Every 60K miles is a good interval for the drain and fill.
Do the spark plugs. It is a four cylinder so it is easy and will definitely not hurt, can only help with performance and mileage and is relatively inexpensive.
The four cylinder has a timing chain and not a timing belt. Timing chains are not a regular maintenance item to change. Now, if your car had a timing belt (rubber ones on display) then you would most definitely need to do regularly scheduled maintenance there.
