97 Camry 4cyl stuck spark plug wires
 

The spark plug wires/boots in my 97 Camry 4cyl are stuck in the valve cover, and won't budge.
Anyone out there know how to remove them without breaking them?
(Several YT videos show some so stuck on, that they had to be broken to remove them.)

Sometimes slightly twisting the top will loosen them.

You could make a long shank hook tool. Slightly raise the boot cover and slide the hook down to grab the bottom of the boot and gently pull up. Rotate the hook around the spark plug diameter pulling up slightly as you rotate.
