Back Seat to trunk pass through

My wife often buys young trees which she transports from the nursery to our home, using her Camry LE (1993). We want to buy a used Camry to replace her '93 and it is absolutely essential that our purchased Camry have this so-called pass-through. We need to know if the 2005-2008 XLE (which has reclining rear seats with their own headrests) has a pass-through, and whether it is a full-width pass-through or just a little slot between the reclining rear seats which may not fold down at all, due to their ability to recline.
This is important to her, so important that she might pass up a good deal in favor of a full-width passthrough.
Second question: Is it the MODEL (LE or XLE) or the YEAR (2005-2008) which determines the pass-through issue? That is, is it a part of the design of the XLE which determines the passthrough question or is it the year?
Who out there in Toyotaland knows about this problem?
Thank you.

For 2005 a 2-piece fold down set was offered AND a fix set having just the folding center section. Fold was appears standard on LE and XLE, perhaps the CE does not have this.

The 2006 should be the same. There was a model change for 2007, I don't know about this year. A Google search will turn up car reviews with the info.

Note: The Hybrid appears to have a differant seat layout, only one side of the back seat folds down.

Thank you for replying to this thread. This thread is now ended. We bought a 2009 Camry, and the folding backseat issue is solved.

Again, this thread is ended.
