The cruise control has its own diagnostic system accessible for viewing trouble codes.

Look under the dash near the steering column for a round plug with 17 total terminals in 3 rows arranged 4, 7 and 6 terminals.

Turn on ign switch

Using a section of wire or other connector, connect the center 2 terminals in the row with 6 terminals.

If the diagnostic system is working properly the cruise light will start to flash

If codes are stored the light indicate them by flashing out a 2 numeral code, one numeral at a time. Example 2 flashes, pause, 1 flash longer pause = code 21.

If more then one code stored they will output lowest to highest codes. Once all codes have been outputted codes will repeat.

When done remove wire and turn off ign switch.

Post back with any codes found.

If no codes are stored the light will flash at a steady rate.
