Camry driver from Australia with a noob q
Hi there, new to the forum.
Purchased a 1998 Toyota Camry 2.2 CSi a month ago - 160,000kms on the clock, nil major issues. Pleasure to drive and look forward to happy motoring. From Australia - yes, steering wheel is on the right side - and have had a few cars go through my hands over the years - 2 x Peugeot 205 GTi's, 1 x Holden VN Commodore with worked 308ci V8 - but have settled down so the wifey doesn't complain about too much noise. I have one question: the only issue with the car is that the right-side (driver) windscreen washer nozzle has ceased to exist. Strangely, the left-side (passenger) works fine, washer motor works fine, everything else works fine except that one jet. There's no water that comes out of it whatsoever and I'm expecting a clogged jet in a place where I can't reach (drilled with a 2mm bit in to the ports of the jet and no dice). I can't find any tips on how to safely take off the hood insulation liner without destroying the clips, so does anyone know where I can post to find out about this? Many many thanks. |
try to look at ehow website I haven't seen any actually but try to look at it.

It may not be possible to remove the clips without some breaking.
Might use wire cutters to get behind the head and gently pull but doubt you will be 100% successful. Clips are sold at the dealer and auto parts stores, a common issue. |
