The wire colors should remain the same at the connectors.

White/Black are grounds wires.
Green/Yellow is seat belt and airbag sensor.
Blue/Orange is 12v from car.
Red/Black is seat heater.
Any yellow covered wiring is airbag.
Seat works, but seatbelt and airbag lights stay on. Is your yellow = orange? Maybe that's why my airbag light is on, because I didn't attach the orange to orange. As far as the seat belt (green/yellow), there were two of each from the floor to the seat - maybe I just need to swap them? I'll attach the black/purple to the black/purple too, as I left them unattached - didn't know what they were...

Any help is appreciated... Darn it for the different Japanese connectors

Yes, I learned this today that the seats i have put into my Japanese 07 Camry Hybrid w/ airbag came from an American 09 Camry Hybrid w/o airbag... I have all the connectors plugged in, there's just one extra wire that's coming from the 09 seat that's only got 2 wires connected to it: one red to black and one black. The red to black one has a fuse connected to it that was tapped into a super thin dark purple wire on both L & R side panel/b pillars (there's like 3 or 4 of them on the drivers side of the 09) and I thought it was a 2nd airbag wire so i read somewhere the airbag wire needs a 5 volt connection to spoof. I found out that a light blue wire on the drivers side of my 07 was pumping 5 volts. Tapped the red and black into that and grounded the black one, started the car and no airbags deployed so that's good. But when I got to the passenger side I tested all the light blue wires and they were over 5 volts, one of them was a ground lmao.

Can anyone explain what this wire connector is for? I first thought it was for the airbag because my airbag light is on, but now I don't think so.
