Did I get a good deal?
 

We just bought a Camry so I thought I should join the forum so I can learn about them. Since I just joined, I thought I would ask a question...

The manager at the dealership is an acquaintance of ours and so we got a "good" deal. Did we?

We bought a 2011 Camry LE 4 cylinder (certified) with 38k miles on it. The Camry is very clean. The only thing wrong with it that we could find is a few marks on the trim around the shifter. We paid 16600 and got 5200 for the Rav4 (117k miles) we traded in. The A/C compressor on the Rav4 is burned out, as is the clutch and one window motor. The interior of the Rav4 is also in pretty rough shape with the exterior in fair condition with various scratches, dings and rust.

We are comfortable with the price of the Camry and the trade-in, but the guys at the dealership acted like it was very good deal. What is your take on our deal?
